Online Shop – Antique Farm House

Online Shop posts allow me to share new online retailers and websites. I’ll share a little about the website/shop, share any items that I’ve personally purchased from the shop and my overall experience and feedback.
Since I haven’t done any type of walk through or tour of our home, you probably don’t know that we have done a ton of updating since we moved in a few years ago. Our home was very outdated and in need of lots of TLC, so we have kept very busying remodeling, updating and making it our own. (I promise I’ll share more on our home very soon!) With all the busy work and focus on the “bigger picture”, the decorating has been a bit neglected. We have some pieces throughout, but there really isn’t any rhyme or reason to our decor and it doesn’t truly feel like it fits our style. I would love to search and shop for vintage pieces and reclaimed items, but with the girls and such a busy schedule lately, the lazy weekend shop hopping doesn’t happen as often as I’d like. So when I stumbled across a few Instagram photos of items from a shop called Antique Farm House, I fell in love instantly and knew that this website might just be the quick & easy way to snag some pieces as we decorate.
The website features lots of unique, vintage inspired pieces at really great prices. The catch is that a lot of the items sell out very quickly, so it’s one of those see it – snag it type setups. I’ve been stalking their site now for weeks and a lot of the items that I fell in love with are now sold out (yes, I’m kicking myself for not ordering them immediately!) so I bit the bullet today and placed my first order. Now I’ll have to play the waiting game for the items to ship and arrive, but I was too excited about it not to share. Here’s the two items that I ordered today:
I’m planning to use this in the living room – probably on the end table – as a catch all for remotes, pens, notepads and whatever books Frankie and I are reading at the moment.
This piece caught my eye and I knew immediately that it would be perfect right inside our sliding glass door for light jackets and hats.
There’s a wide variety of pieces on the site to match many different tastes too, like bright, bold colored pieces, more traditional classic items and lots of larger pieces of furniture. I promise as soon as my new pieces arrive I’ll share all the details with photos of how they look!
