Welcome to OLSH! I’m Emily, a homeschool, work at home, busy-as-all-get-out mom. We are in our 7th year of homeschooling and I created this blog to share our homeschool journey and help other busy families navigate the homeschool world.

We clearly do not have it all together. Our house isn’t spotless 24/7…or ever for that matter. You won’t find magazine-worthy decorated rooms or gourmet recipes here.

What you will find is solutions and life hacks to the obstacles faced by busy homeschooling families every day. You’ll find homeschool resources & printables, product & curriculum reviews, easy & healthy recipes, kid activities and more!

We love to travel and camp, try our best at gardening and are brand new to the world of backyard chickens.  We have many things to learn and many things to share!
