Easy Bagel Pizzas
I’m always trying to think of ways to keep our daily homeschool lunches fun and exciting. It can be difficult to come up with easy, kid-friendly recipes day after day. Especially if you are already pressed for time in a busy day. These easy bagel pizzas are perfect when you don’t have a lot of time or ingredients. Plus, my kids can actually make these themselves if needed!

Add Fun Toppings
A fun twist for these bagel pizzas is the heart shaped pepperoni. Simply use a fun cookie cutter to make shaped pepperoni pieces. You could use different cookie cutters to create these pizzas for different holidays, like Christmas, Halloween, and St. Patrick’s Day.
Use Up On-Hand Ingredients
I love this recipe because it’s a great way to use bagels that might not be the freshest. My girls won’t eat toast or bagels once they start to get a little firm, however, when you toast and add the toppings to these bagel pizzas, they don’t notice. Mom-win right there!
Create Specialty Bagel Pizzas
Once you’ve created this recipe a few times, you can get creative with your topics. Try adding chicken, ham or sausage to your pizza. You could even create themed pizzas to match your current lessons (Hawaiian pizza, Asian inspired toppings, veggie pizza).
Make Breakfast Bagel Pizzas
This is a great recipe to use for breakfast as well! Just swap out your pizza sauce for some sausage gravy and top your bagel pizzas with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, veggies and cheese for a delicious breakfast pizza.
Easy Pizza Bagels
Equipment
- Parchment lined baking sheet
- Heart Shaped Cookie Cutters
- Prep bowls
Ingredients
- 3 bagels (makes 6 pizzas)
- ¼ C pizza sauce
- 1 C pepperoni
- 1 C mozzerlla cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Cut the pepperoni with the heart shaped cutter (optional)

- Slice the bagels

- Place a spoonful of pizza sauce on the bagel

- Add a handful of cheese

- Top with pepperoni

- Bake for 10-12 minutes
Notes
- You can opt to toast the bagel in the toaster first then melt the cheese by popping the bagel in the microwave for 30-45 seconds. You won’t get the same crispiness that the oven provides but this will allow the kids to make this recipe on their own.
- You can skip the pizza sauce and add olive oil with a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
- You can make your own pizza sauce by combining a small can of tomato sauce, Italian seasonings, and some garlic salt.
