The first set of printables that I created when we started homeschooling were our reading & writing templates. We read a lot of books at our house so having blank book reports, reading logs, and book lists was really important to help keep our homeschool day organized and on track. I keep a fresh stack of each of these printables on hand now so the girls can just grab them when needed and it encourages them to continue to read and write each day.
These printables are great for using for homeschooling but can also be used as a way to track and encourage your child to read during the summer or school breaks. We use a reward system at our house and incorporate these printables. Each time one of our girls complete a book report or fill their logs, they get to choose a prize from our prize bin. I also love that I can use these printables in their homeschool portfolios at the end of each school year.
This free printable pack is part of our Colorful Homeschool Printables Series and includes:
