Coupons & Deals

I don’t want to save money and find great deals on items my family uses…..said no one EVER! This is the master list of shopping apps and links to coupons & deals that we use to save money for our family. We didn’t realize just how much you can save each month by taking a few extra minutes to check an app, scan a receipt or do a little research before making a purchase. We are definitely still learning the tricks of the trade, but want to share the resources that we currently use to keep ourselves within (or below) budget each month!
Shopping Apps
This is a list of the apps that our family uses on a regular basis when shopping. I have them listed in order of how frequently we use them but depending on your own shopping habits, you may find you will get more use out of the those that we use occasionally.
Ibotta is definitely our current go to for savings while shopping. It’s simple to use and you can get $10 when you sign up using my link (https://ibotta.com/r/ripfkbd) and redeem your first rebate! We normally will base our weekly shopping trips around the items that Ibotta is offering rebates on. Plus, they occasionally offer non-brand specific rebates on items like milk, bread and veggies! Join Ibotta and receive $10 after your first rebate!
SavingStar is another very easy to use app that allows you to redeem rebates on items that you purchase. They offer a specific type of rebate that is usually a higher value than other apps but requires you to purchase a certain dollar amount of a specific brand or product type. I like the shopping list feature that allows me to pick the rebates ahead of time so I don’t miss any items while shopping.

This is store specific, so if you don’t do much shopping at Walmart then you won’t find it nearly as useful as we do. The majority of our grocery shopping is done at Walmart, so the fact that we don’t have to try to price match our items is a huge plus for us! You scan your receipt into the app and it checks local competitors advertised prices for the items you purchased. If they find a lower price at a competitor store then they will give you back the difference in form of a Walmart gift card credit. It’s super simple and only takes a minute to do after each shopping trip.
