If you’re looking for an all-in-one, easy to use curriculum for homeschooling, Evan-Moor offers Homeschool Curriculum Bundles for Grades 1-6 that probably check all of your must-have boxes. One of the perks to using their homeschool bundles is the new Homeschool Curriculum Planner. The planner is only available when you purchase a homeschool bundle and allows you to easily plan and manage your homeschool schedule.
I’ve had many new homeschool parents ask me to help them find a curriculum package that “tells us what to do each day”. While I love the flexibility of homeschooling, I know many families are looking for something straightforward with a pre-made schedule or plan. This planner in addition to the bundle provides just that!
How It Works
Once you purchase a Homeschool Curriculum Bundle you’ll find instructions on how to access your free homeschool curriculum planner included in your shipment. The planner is in a Google Slides format which allows you to print, edit, or export it easily.
The homeschool curriculum bundles are available for Grades 1 – 6 and you’ll receive the planner that corresponds to the bundle you purchase.
The planner includes instructions on how to print and edit so you can personalize it for your family’s needs. It’s even hyperlinked so you can jump to the section you need quickly when using it in digital format.
I love that each book within the Homeschool Curriculum Bundle has it’s own separate checklist in the planner. You can print the entire planner or just the checklists for the books that you need scheduled.
I am all about checklists and organization. Although we follow a very “fluid” homeschool plan and schedule, I think this planner is the perfect companion to the Homeschool Curriculum Bundle for those who want to have a pre-made lesson plan available at any time.
The planner is easy to follow and use. The pages are color coordinated to correspond to the workbooks (which I absolutely love). You can easily edit the dates while in Google Slides to correspond with your homeschool calendar. You can even edit the names and order of the assignments if you’d like. My favorite part of this exclusive download is the versatility in that it can be dropped into a note taking app on my iPad, such as Goodnotes, and edited or manipulated as needed. I can definitely see this being printed and hung for the girls to see so they can check off each lesson or page. I am saving it to my Goodnotes folder so I can utilize it as a digital resource.
Another great advantage to having this planner with the bundle is that you can see in a simple glance all of the topics and skills that will be focused on during the use of the book. I was able to quickly see the contents of each book and make changes to our extension activities as needed.
Overall, this planner and the homeschool curriculum bundle is definitely an amazing option for the family who needs a “set it and forget it” format for their homeschool. I haven’t had a chance to review every title in the bundle. However, I am confident that it’s a great pick for those who are shopping for an all-in-one package based on our past use of Evan-Moor products.
Remember, the homeschool curriculum planner is only available when you purchase one of the Homeschool Curriculum Bundles!
*I was given a free copy of the homeschool curriculum planner to review. The opinion expressed in this post is my own and was not swayed in anyway by the publisher.
